I have an eleven year old Lennox unit. It’s a five ton split system, two speed compressor, fourteen speed air handler, and it is set up running four different zones in the house. I am very happy with the unit from the beginning. I was just wondering if you had a licensed contractor install the system, and what they had to say about your problem.

My reaction was much the same, where is the communication with the installer?

I have two Lennox units over 12 years old, never a problem.

lennox is pretty quality stuff. If you are having a problem you need to contact the installing contractor before you start bitching to lennox.
