Have the American Standard evolution 6 foot whirlpool. Installation was smooth except for the overflow.. 1599.205 lifetime model. No matter what we do the overflow leaks on test. The gasket does not seem to seal no matter how tight we crank down on the screws. The gasket is thicker on one side than the other and the ridges are different on top and bottom. Not sure which way it goes and what side should be up. Also seems almost impossible to position the big gasket and have it stay in place as you put the retaining clip on and screw it down.. We do not have any printed instructions. The American Standard website is useless on this issue. Can anyone help with the gasket orientation or install tricks?
