What would be the reason my toilet has a slight trickling water sound and it runs often eventhough it's not flushed? I have a FluidMaster 400 Series Dual Flush.

Assuming it has a flapper valve that lifts to flush, the rubber on those degrades and it is probably ripe for replacment, or, it has some crud caught underneath it so it can no longer seal.
