How to install SS154 in Pacifica

Hello,

I have a Toto Pacifica that I need to replace the seat. I bought the SS154 seat but can't mount from the top. My toiled is to close to the wall and don't have the clearance to mount from behind.

How can I accomplish this task? I don't really want to remove the whole toiled just to replace the seat.

The Pacifica came with black rubber toggles and stainless steel screws.
Those drop in from the top.

Yes, I have them, but they don't grab to anything, meaning the toiled seat is loose. Maybe I'm missing something?

When installed properly, they expand and clamp to the hole. You may not be tightening them or if you are, not enough.

You have to tighten them.
We install them all the time, and have been doing so for years.

It will put muscles on you.
