Vent Rough-in

King counties plumbing website states..

Sanitary Tee.
Used in vertical position only. Trap arm application and horizontal to vertical drop.



What I'm not clear on is, can a Sanitary Tee be used in a Vertical to horizontal vent connection? (ie tying a vertical vent into a horizontal vent.)

Yes,
Sanitary tees can be used for vents above the flood level in the horizontal postion.
Below flood level, they should remain vertical.

This is awkward, but...
