Sorry for my ignorance, but is there such a thing? I'm replacing a toilet flange and the bend that comes up to the toilet but b/c of the height requirements (the floor's going to be slightly higher than it used to be), it would be really great if the male end of the street bend were longer, and I could get the height exactly where I wanted, b/c I'd have slack to cut off. Then the closet flange pipe could go right over it nice & tight. Otherwise I have to use a normal bend, using a pipe as a wanna-be coupling, and the flange pipe would have to go over that pipe. Not sure if I'm describing this well, but maybe someone will understand.

I'd really like to have a flange pipe that went inside the bend (is this when I should use a 4x3?) Or if there is a better way to do this, using another bend.

Yes, you just have to change your thinking. Get a 4x3 CLOSET BEND. It has a long 4"riser which you cut to size eventually, then slide a 4" flange OVER it. That is how I do ALL of my toilet installations. I have NEVER used a 3" riser, but have had to service many 3" installations which had problems.
