I had an earlier thread started about replacing a toilet flange -- and I appreciate everyone's help on that --

Now I need to pick out a new toilet.

I'm interested in the Toto Drake series -- and I have also looked at the Kohler Cimmarron and American Standard Champion toilets.

Just want a reliable -- good (1) flush toilet.

Any feedback/recommendations on these or any other toilet Manufacturers?

Thanks.

The Drake would be the better of the three mentioned.
Then the Kohler,
then the Champion.
Installing the Champion is a bit harder than the others.
I have the least amount of problems with the Toto.

I just installed the Toto Gweneth over the weekend, so far very nice.

I say why pussyfoot around the issue...
The Am Std. Champion was a dog the day it came out...
And 4 redesigns later its still a dog...

If you get one it will let you down!

I guess that's why the neighbor across the street gets his toilets from me now. He used to have the Champion. It became a leaker too.
And the neighbor next to him has Toto.

There's a Toto dealer in my area -- looks like I'll be going there this weekend.

Thanks.

Ok -- I'll download their spec sheets and take a look at them.

Thanks for the feedback.
