changing pipe size

Hi folks,

If existing pipe coming from wall of house is 1/2" then we attach a 1" pipe, will there be change in GPM?

No. You can only get the GPM which that 1/2" will deliver. However, if you have to run any distance, changing to a larger pipe size will minimize any further losses, as compared to continuing with the 1/2"
