drop down closet bend

Hi, this could be first of a few questions regarding adding a first floor bathroom to horizontal drain leading to septic field.
Can I drop down 6 inches from water closet flange to closet bend before heading horizontal. In other words there is a 6 inch 4x6 joist in the way.

Yes, or farther too.
Just make sure you vent within six feet of the flange.
