When pressure testing new rough in should the air be bleed from the pipes or left in? Seems like it would be hard to find a tiny leak just like a car tire sometimes you have to put them underwater.

Open a faucet at the far end of the run. This is especially true when filling an empty water heater prior to restoring power/gas. As soon as water flows from the open faucet, the pipe is free of air.
