I'm hoping there is a way to remove the pipe at the shown joint and build from there. This would save me having to remove the ceiling below to access the plumbing not shown. However, is there a way to remove an ABS pipe from a joint and reuse the joint? Also, the existing pipe is incorrectly set at a downward pitch. Is there flexibility to move the new pipe when gluing it to get the correct pitch (I assume not)? The whole assembly won't move because it is close to another joint that merges with another shower drain. I simply cannot pull at the end of the pipe to get the correct pitch.
