no water

i bought a fixer upper in the country and have not been able to get water,,,first i tried a used pump but had no success and, figuring that maybe it was the pump, i recently bought a new water ace 3/4 shallow well jet pump,,,but still no water,,,i let run for 15min at least and nothin, filling with water occasionally,,,the line is washed in pvc 2" and runs about 50 feet and under drive way,,,there is a large tree about 12 feet from the well head,,,i cut it down,,,i am asking for any help in getting water again,,,what steps i should take ,,,? HELP !

Suction leak, low well level, bad pump, clogged screen, or all the above could be your problem. Might be worth a service call to have someone look at it.
