valve shut off location

I'm remodeling a bathroom, and I'd like to have the shut off on the right side of the toilet, not the left. The standard flexible pipe that's used ovbiously wont reach from the right side to the left side. Does anyone have any advice on what i should use for the connection? Also, is this a bad idea? if so, why?

I'm sure you have a reason for wanting to do this, but I'd suggest you rethink your idea. You can probably find some kind of hose that would make the connection, and it would work, but the appearance will look very unprofessional to say the least. Look for a way to locate the supply in the normal place.

There are long closet supply tubes as well as extension tubes you connect with a 3/8" compression fitting. Why cant you install the waterline in the correct location? If you cant fit the waterline where it needs to be you arent going to be able to fit a toilet in the space either as the waterline comes either out of the wall or through the floor pretty much right under the fill valve to which it connects. Installing it on the opposite side of the toilet will work, but its going to look like garbage.

Just get a connection hose that is long enough to fit. Not too many people will notice where the water is coming from. They have white flex pipe, braided stainless,or flex plastic to do the job. I gather there is a reason to want it on the right side.

I'd notice, but I also notice if a toilet isnt squared up with the wall. Drives my wife nuts, but after 20 years together she's more than halfway there anyway.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to see if i can put the connection in the wall. This bathroom is going to be a small integrated shower, and I didn't want the floor connection on the left side where it was close to the shower and could be a potential leak.
