Everyone,

I want to put in two sinks into our bathroom. We want to put in wall mounted sinks that have the p trap exposed. In all the examples that I have seen, the two p traps are symetrically positioned around the main drain. Is this necessary? Is the plan below OK?

Thanks

Jonathan

No, that layout won't pass inspection.

For two lavs, you can use a 2x1.5x1.5x1.5 fixture cross

Not if it has to be inspected. You can run the horizontal line lower and then turn up between the two sinks with a back to back fixture fitting and arms going to the two sinks with the vent continuing vertical to a point 42" above the floor and then tied back to the existing vertical pipe.
