This is skiing in May at Alpental (http://www.summitatsnoqualmie.com/) in the Cascades.
The parking lot was slammed, and lines were huge for the Cinco de Mayo party at Alpental.
The snow was pretty soft for me.
I fell down a few times and normally I can bounce right up.
With the soft snow, I pushed my arm out, and instead of rising up from the snow, my arm sank in up to my armpit.
It was kind of like those dreams where you can't get back up.

My nephew Caleb was snowboarding, ripping it up a bit.
It's a good thing he wears that helmet.
He's a bit more aggresive than I am now.

The very top, 5,400 feet of elevation

Lake Kechelas still with snow and ice.
