My work has just burried a 1700 gallon cistern that will be supplied with runoff water from a nearby park. The goal is to use the water to supply the sprinkler systems for a small green space. I had several questions about what pump I would need. My first thought was a submersible pump for inside the cistern that would cut on when the timer activated the sprinkler system. The sprinkler system is currently on a timer and is fed by city water through 1" PVC.
