Hi,
I joined as a member just now. I do have an issue. According to my neighbour, the previous owner used the sandpoint all the time. But after we moved in, we did not use this set up. Because the pump was taken by the owner. Now I would like to start it up. First thing - There is about 3" sleeve installed underground and there is about 1.25" gal. pipe installed in it. This is the sandpoint. I am not able to hold water in this pipe. I do have a pump but for anything, I am not able to evaccuate the suction line. Is this normal for sandpoint? I know that in foot valve system we need to purge the air.By the way, I can hear water splash, when some mud slides into the hole of sleeve. That means there is water down there.
I would appreciate if you can help me with some pointers. Thank you.
