O.K. guys (and gals) got a problem with a possible leaking pvc pipe under my foundation. My water delivery has slowly gone from every 6 weeks to every 3 weeks with no change of usage or leaking taps or toilets and I have been losing pressure at pump ( jacuzzi pump kicks in more often ). The consensus at the local watering hole is that there is a crack in the pipe under the foundation. This idea was reflected by my water supplier.
I have a 2" pvc pipe coming out of my basement floor it then turns into a metal 2' pipe going to the jacuzzi pump and on to the air tank. The tank is 40' away from this point. The tank is abut the foundation or part of it. I had assumed if the tank was part of the foundation they would have put the pipe into the concrete? the house is only 17 yrs. old.
Is there a way to maybe empty my watertank and enter thru the man-hole, then repair the pipe by spraying some sort of GUNK or a inflatable tube that will put an inner seal in the piping? I have access to both ends of pipe and i think there my be a 90 deg. bend under there.
Please don't tell me to dig a tunnel under my house!
