After much research both here and elsewhere I bought myself a TOTO Carrollton toilet as part of our bathroom reno. But when the contractor installed it, I think he must have done something wrong.
Whenever anything gets added to the bowl (liquid or solid) the toilet starts to gurgle. It's as if the additional mass is pushing water over a ridge where it falls onto more water. After a few minutes it stops. It also stops when I flush.
This doesn't seem right to me and I was wondering if any of you could help point me in the right direction. Is this normal for all low-flow types of toilet? Is this symptom an indication of a bad install?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
