I have L above ground and K under the slab in my 1964 home which we bought in 2001 and I am so glad I do....

Click to expand... if you were doing plumbing in the 50s, than that puts you a ways up there.. that is basically all we ever used was M and we never had a problem, in the late 60s.... though the L is just more rugged..

Krow Plumber Messages 903 Reaction score 3 Points 16 Location Ontario, Canada Apr 23, 2008 #5 We use L mostly on commercial applications (resturaunts, bars, factories that rely on constant water usage, etc.........) We rarely ever use L on residential because of bottom line cost (as if copper prices aren't high enough so far)
