I am building a home on a property with an existing well. The well seems to be in good shape, but it's 900 ft from the house location and its about 25 ft lower than house elevation. So I worked up my headloss through the system using 1.5 inch pipe and it appears I will have a 15 psi drop from the well to the house at 10 gpm.
Does anyone see a problem with this situation or have other suggestions?

15 PSI drop with 900' of 1 ½" pipe and 25' elevation sounds right. Just need to make up for this 15 PSI with the pump and pressure switch setting. Normal setting would be 40/60. Add 15 PSI to that for a pressure switch setting of 55/75, and you will see 40/60 at the house.
