problems again?help please?

hi all,
i wonder if some one can help, i am helping my mum put an en suite bathroom on her bedroom, stud wall is in place been plasterbaored and plastered, now the problem is there was already a sink in the now existing ensuite so i have to pipes which have been capped.
now i am going to put the sink bk but can i run the shower and toilet of them 2 pipes as they are only 10ml copper?
if not can i just take a t peice and enlarge it to 14ml pipe?
i am asking coz i have heard there will not be enough presure for all of them and the water will trickle out of the shower coz its only 10ml pipe?true ?false?
any advice appreciated?

The smallest pipe used here in the colonies is 1/2", which approximates your 14 mm. 10mm is quite small, and would suffer pressure loss if shower/toilet/sink were all running at the same time. We actually use a lot of 3/4" pipe, which would correlate to something like 18 mm.

The nature of your question indicates to me that you have gotten into something beyond your abilities. You should stop what you are doing and seek professional assistance on site. There is a limit to what can be provided through an online forum.

Most of our colonies have now adopted the metric system, only the US kept imperial units and these are not even the same as British imperial units because the UK updated these over the centuries whereas the American taxpayers (paid to London of course) did not.

Hence a British pint is different to an American pint.

In answer to your other question, no you cannot enlarge to 14mm after the 10mm pipe. The 10mm pipe earlier on will still restrict the flow.

wel this is why am i am asking!
i work for a plumber so its not a problem, im trying to do the best i can as ihe is on holiday!
i know alot just a few pointers!
maybe u should get sumink better to do than sit here slagging people of for trying!
