What is the best method for removing toilet

flange wax other than scraping? HEat is not an option.

OR, is it that you have it smeared on floors, walls, ceilings, & clothes?

If you happen to get some wax on the floor or somewhere else that needs to be cleaned up, my favorite cleaner that I always carry is regular Zippo lighter fluid. Safe for most any surface, works well, including on flange wax. The producte like Goof-Off, Goo-Gone, Lift-Off, etc also work well, but cost more!

I run with 2 putty knives.One to clean the other!
