solinoid valve

Anybody got ideas on installing a solinoid valve on a hose line.
Want to be able to operate it with a remote control .

Sprinkler system valve? I'm sure Grainger has some that would work.

Just a regular hose faucet,and I didn`t think of your suggestion.

Just screw a solenoid into the line somewhere and run wires to it.

You make it sound so simple,I found the valve,now I have to get the
operating system.

Two wires, a power source, and a switch. That's about the most basic operating system.

Use a 120VAC NC solenoid valve and power it with one of those remote control things for lamps and what not.
