I am remodeling my kitchen. What size sink base should I install, 33 or 36 inch size? Any help would be appreciated.
IF you use a self rimmed stainless steel sink a 32" or 33" will be too tight to install the mounting clamps. If it is a top mount cast iron or Americast then there are no clamps and you can use the smaller one.

A standard 33X22 sink is a tight fit in a 33" sink base, which is 32" inside measurement. Go for a 36 if you can.
