shower head leakage

Have a 1986 Moen single knob shower (pull/turn/push). Moen suggest replace cartridge ( Model 1200 or 2500 ) HDepot says not available. What is best
way to cope with individual parts replacement ?

Ask Moen to send you one or go to a real plumbing supply store.

Why not replace it with a 1225B. Its plastic, but guarenteed for life. Moen gives these away like candy on Halloween
