I am getting ready to install a new acrylic tub. The drain and overflow are all 1 1/2 inch PVC. I would like to install it directly without the use of a reducer or slip joint. My only access to the tub drain area will be from the drain end of the tub through a partially open wall.

Can anyone give me some guidelines so I get things lined up correctly?

This is awkward, but...
