I am looking at getting this sink.

it does not have an overflow hole.

Will this cause a problem with slow draining as I have been reading or is this remediable with some other parts installed ?
I am also looking for a specific type of faucet, is there any requirement for specific type of faucet for a vessel sink ?
will this work ?

You may have a drainage problem unless the drain you use has an opening large enough to allow the trapped air to exit. That faucet is too low. You either need a wall mounted one, or one with a tower to raise it above the sink.
