Hi everybody! I found this forum the other day and like it a lot.My question is regarding a basement plumbing.I'm attaching two fig.--fig 1 is the way it is right now fig2 is what I would like to have.
I want to make 2 extra drains for 2 washing machines. Also the part on fig1 is still old cast iron pipes and I want to change them for pvc ( the rest of the system was alredy changed)My question is if the fig2 is correct or will I need a vents there.
Looks like a wet vents are the only option there unless somebody have a different idea. This is in the basement and the circle on the top is a horizontal pipe coming from two flors( 2 familly house)
Also the cleanout is under ground level so there is a huge dip in the basement floor.I was wonder if a 90 deg long turn elbow will be a proper thing for cleanout as shown on the pic fig2.
The dubble Y has to be as low as possible for a sink.

Washing machines require a 2" p-trap and standpipe.
The vent needs to be within five feet of the trap.
The waste line from the upstairs, is not a vent.
You need to run vents from the downstairs seperatley.

The lav can have a 1-1/2" drain, and it must be vented within 42"

There is no such thing as a "wet vent" that uses a waste stack.
The waste stack will suck every trap dry in the basement.

I've been in the third world, and seen what they do, and even they do it better.
I will try to find some time today to redo the drawing for you.
Sorry that sounded so grumpy.
It should look more like this.

Thanks for your time!Is this what you mean or i'm missing something? Also can I go with the vent outside the basement above the snow level slightly higher then the waste line from the 2 flors indicated by blue line or I have to go higher then my second floor wich seems to be imposible without ripping both floors wals.
