I originally wasnt planning on using left over floor stone for the base boards but factoredin that I have enough. So with the floor already sealed I need to come back and add the base.
So my main question is, how do you use stone to wrap around a rounded corner? The limestone is .5" + thick. I know that i wont get a true offset round, but is there a way to get decent round edge?? The limestoen is not polished so it shouldnt be a problem to ground and hit with sandpaper.
Any ideas?

thanks...Chris

Depends on how much you want to spend. If you have a wetsaw, you can buy a profiling blade that can do a 1/4-round. You can do it with a grinder and a diamond blade. You could do it with a sander, but it would take a long time and be very dusty. A granite fabricator could do it for about $5-10 per foot for you depending on the area.

I think if I butt one piece up to another that has a 1/4 I should be good to go. I have 3 outside corners so grinding three pieces hsouldnt be too bad.

I'm not 100% sure of what you talking about but couldn't you minter the corner and fill in the gap with a matching grout?

Mitering the two pieces then rounding the two(after) with a grinder could work too. Then fill in the gap between stone and rounded wall.
