Ok, i have solved my flange and rough in problems with a new Vespin installed on Friday. I have a few questions that i hope you experienced guys can help with:

1. The tank seems loose. I told the plumber to tighten it which he did but it will still wobble. How tight can i tighten it without breaking the bowl?

2. The bowl wash isn't that good. It seems to stop flushing when the tank is still 25% full. Is that normal?

3. Is Lyme Away safe for CEFIONTECT?

Thanks,

Dave

You can tighten the bowl slowly, evenly, side-to-side until just before it touches. You don't want any porcelain to porcelain tension...just to the point where it (nearly) makes contact. A sheet of paper or something can be used to see when to stop...you should still be able to pull it out.

CEFIONTECT is pretty slippery. Normally, all you need is to brush. Terry had suggested Clorox toilet cleaner with Teflon. I'd rather not use a strong acid on it (which I think is what's in Lime-away). Might not do anything...
