Hello all

First time here. I have a friend who's small home well pump system makes a constant clicking sound, on/off for a short while every time the pump tries to come on. Water pressure at faucets seems fine, just this new clicking sound.
I suspect this is something that I going to fail soon. Any ideas on what is going on.

thanks in advance

The constant clicking sounds like the pump switch going on and off during water use.

This is normaly a sign of a ruptured bladder tank or one that has lost its air charge.

This would be the first thing I would look at.

Hey, wait a minute.
