I have a floor-mounted flushometer toilet in my apartment. How difficult is it to replace it with a standard, tank-type toilet?

The first indicator will be the rough-in.
Most toilets with flushometer vavles are 10" rough.
Most toilets built for the home are 12" rough.
Measure from the wall to the bolts that hold the toilet, that should be the center of the drain.
The next step, would be changing the water supply.
The water will need to be shut down in the building and a 1/2" water line installed on the wall near the floor to the left of the toilet, 8" off center and about 6" high.

Thank you. Are there other suggestions for replacing it, that is, with a less industrial-looking flushometer type? It works fine now, but I think it'll help re-sale value down the road. What was the norm for 1920's era apartment toilets?
