Hello everyone -

After having a new undermounted sink dropped in, I've discovered that it may make everything underneath the sink too low. I reconnected everything as best I could, but after doing some reading here, I think I need to lower the waste pipe going into the wall.

In this photo you can see the pipe coming out of the disposal, to the trap, and then going into the wall.

Am I right? If so, that kind of job is way beyond my abilities and I'll have to call in the pros, but before I do I wanted to see if there's any other way around this.

Thanks - this forum is a great resource!

Thank you sir. Will do.

Anyone have any idea how much something like this might cost?

cost

No way to tell because it depends on how the piping is arranged in the wall. But you can be sure it is going to be a lot more than if the piping had been changed before the cabinets had been installed, especially if the vertical pipe is behind one of them which is often the case.
