I'm an avid DIYer from way back and watch a lot of the DIY shows on TV. (My current favorite is Canadian Mike Holmes on "Holmes On Homes". He is really good, and uses only the best pro talent.)
I'm no "expert" on anything, but this clown in your video is typical of a lot of those so-called experts on some of these how-to shows. Some of the stuff that they do can really make you cringe. What nitwits! LOL

So, we have the "they don't make them anymore" tailpipe/pop-up asembly; the flex line, the sag IN the flex line, and the S trap. Anything I missed?

I guess I thought that went hand in hand with the S trap. Either way it's scary to think people learn how to do things from things like this.

looking something like that ....
what style , fiii-ness.., .arm pit hair ,
....and personality all rolled into one.....
could not check out the tattoos he had........
if only I could seen how much butt crack he shows...
that would tell me how many years he has been doing plumbing
its sort of like reading the rings on a tree...........

It is experts like this that give the customers the impression we are ripping them off, because they "saw the expert do it", and he did not use all those parts or take that much time.
