Merry Christmas. I have been working in my basement finishing it. I am going to put in a half bath. The rough in for the bath is all ready installed the 4 inch pipe for the toilet and the drain pipe all run under the slab to a sump pump I checked this by dumping water down the pipe and listened for the sump pump to kick on. I checked out the sump pump It's sealed up in the well, but the tag on the power cord has "Zoeller Co P/N 004359-D also has Sewage or Effluent Pump meets SSPMA Standards" I went to the Zoeller website but could not find the P/N hopefully someone knows this pump and if it can handle solids. My second question is if the vent pipe on the sump pump well sufficient or do I need to run a new vent pipe for the sink. The sump pump is about 20 feet from the bathroom.

Your pump should be fine.Sump should vented sepratly from bath.Yes you need to vent the sink.

Thanks, I also emailed the company for the Specs on the pump. Now all I have to do is figure out is how to tie into a vent.
