Where's the snow?

Snow for Cookie

That photo was taken last year around this time. Vermont has had several "off" years with little snowfall. The trail around this former drinking water reservoir, now a public park, was walkable.

Those mountains are about 30 miles away, in the area where my camp is. I had zoomed them in to make them look closer.

The snow we had last weekend has been reduced by rain. We need more snow now to freshen things up.

For Cookie, here is a snow scene taken near my camp in 2003.
