Hi,

Got the house 2 yrs ago and the submersible sump pump worked properly until recently. 1 mos ago I found the pump was running non-stop and there was no water in the well. When I unplug the pump and sensor (I assume the 2nd power cord was for sensor?), and pluged them back after 10 mins, the pump worked properly for 1 week and then went crazy again. For every 2-5 days it ran non-stop and I had to unplug them again to bring it to normal. I think it is possible someday the pump would not recover even after coolling it. My area has heavy snow in winter so I can not take the risk.

Is there a way to fix it? Any suggestion would be highly appreciated!

I would suggest a new Zoeller or, Liberty submersible pump. Neither of them will let you down.
