Hi guys, let me start by telling you that I know very little about plumbing. Changing shower heads and replacing toilets is the extent of my knowledge. I'll be having this done by a professional plumber, I just want to have everything we need onsite ahead of time.
I'm updating a 25 year old bathroom and looking at various faucets. We're looking mostly at Kohler and I noticed that the faucets require a Kohler valve behind the wall to properly connect the handle. No problem, I can understand why. But Kohler has a bunch of different valves and I don't understand the difference between them. Here they are:
K-306-KS (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=225302)
K-304-KS (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=210602)
K-304-KP (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=210502)
K-304-K (http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/detail.jsp?item=210402)
Click the names for links to the Kohler website. I used the Kohler compare tool and about the only difference I can see is the male/female connections are in different configurations. Am I missing something else? Thanks in advance.
PS - we're only looking at Kohler b/c the wife likes their look. If there's a better brand please let me know. I don't want to open up the wall every 5 years to fix this thing.
