Greetings, here's the skinny?....We had a point put in about 3 years ago and everything has been fine until a couple days ago. All of a sudden the hall way bathrioom toilet was filled with dark rust colored water. Even when flushed dark water would come out. Strange thing is.. all other water outlets including second bathroom were clear water. Then pressure dropped to almost zero.

Have a 1/2 hp Jetpro pump and a 2" point. I dissassembled tank and fittings and blew them all out with my air compressor. Assembled them and voila! We have water and pressure again but water is discolored. Also, pump will not shut off..continues to run when pressure gage on fitting by bladder reaches 22psi and stays there.

I removed the control box and threaded tube by bladder cleaned and blew it out with airhose. Also, removed control box on pump that is fed by small water tube..cleaned and reassembled. Still pump will not shut off when gage is maxxed out at 22psi???? Hope I did not totally confuse you.

Plugged Nozzle in the injector!

I don't know about the discolored water but it sounds like the lack of pressure (22 lbs) indicates to me something is plugging the 1/4" nozzle below the Venturi in your pump injector. Clean it out and your pressure should come back. If you need to know how to clean the nozzle call the pump dealer or look at your pump breakdown.
