I'm hoping I can get some help on this. I've read some things and I have a good understanding of what is going on with this annoying situation. However, all of the answers I've seen are unacceptable.

The valve is a combo check valve/ball valve lovated about 18" above the sealed cover of the ejector pump, it the gos 45 degress 2 ft to another 45 degrees and the straight up vertically another 4 ft to a horizontal.(All is 2" PVC)

I know the noise is coming from discahrge in the vertical strectch of pipe when the check valve closes. It carries through the entire house and is so loud it is emberrasing when there are pepople here.
Can I put another check valve near the vertical pipe and horizontal pipe to elimanate the intense back flow to the first check valve?

Do they make a check valve that is designed for vertical use?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Lastly, wrapping the pipe in rubber or foam will not help much, the noise travels the netire distance of the pipe internally and transmitts that nosie through the whole house.

Thanks for your help!
