Does anyone know how to install Repcal faucet valve seat (the seat does not have threads). Do you use a sealant? If so what kind.

Are you sure it does not have a thread?

Crane/Repcal Faucet Stem Seat
Size: 9/16 x 18 thread.
Length: 3/8 inch.
