Hi am New here...
I hope someone ...anyone can help me. I reglazed an old iron sink it needed a little update. I bought the kit from Home Depot and followed all the instructions. When I went to apply the first coat...I got bubbles. I did second coat and more bubbles..bigger now. The Bubbles are getting bigger and now my sink it's worst than when it started.

What can I do to fix it?

Thanks in advance for your reply.
Blessings

The paint/coating, and that is all it is, has reacted with something on the surface of the sink.

What ever it is will have to be removed.

Did you read and follow ALL the directions?

How did you apply the coating? If you brushed it on, it is difficult to avoid bubbles from the brushing.

And, as others have already mentioned, proper surface cleaning and prep is vital in this application.

Now, about volitile products like epoxy paints and smockman's awareness of job safety:

That link is somewhat dated, as two people have since gone room temperture ( they DIED) from using that product. Naturally, the lawyers are having a field day. Here us the updated link: http://www.productsthathurt.com/blo...t-pull-recalled-grout-sealer-from-shelves.php

If you intend to spray an epoxy product, you should have at a minimum a P100 respirator, and preferably an air fed hood.

Thank you both for your reply. I used Klenk's Tub and Tile and Sink
refinishing kit.

I went step by step on everthing they said to do and payed very close
attention on the warnings and so on.

I waited the exact actual time and cleaned surface before appling the product. So now how do I get rid of the bubbles?
