Delta shower faucet opinion

Just about to purchase a couple of faucets for the master bath. Had anyone used the T18255 series? It has 'body sprays' built into the faucet. Seems like a gimmick, but the price is right.

I assume you are aware that the T18255 is a trim set ONLY. It requires a R18222 rough in valve, which lists for $200.

I have a personal bias against buying a complicated set like this on the famous bay. How do you know that some little gizmo has not been lost by the previous owner?
