Greetings and good afternoon! Firstly, I want to say I sincerely appreciate all of you who regularly dispense such good advice on this site. It has truly been an education! Thank You!

My wooden frame for my shower is going to be about 3-1/2 feet by 48 inches. I'm going to use Durock sheets (regular 3'x5's) - for a wall application, do I need to break the seams, or can I, for these relatively short distances, get by with just linin' 'em up?

Any thoughts/guidance/wisdom/comments are most welcome!!

Thanks Again!
Paul

Probably the best forum for tiling, with a large quantity of tiling pros is www.johnbridge.com. You need at least the support of a normal 16" stud wall. It doesn't hurt to block the seams.
