Moen headache....

We are adding in a shower to our newly remodeled bath and have some Moen questions that we need serious advice on. We have a Moen Showhouse S935 M-PACT Valve Rough-in Moentrol installed by a friend of a friend and are having some trouble locating a trim kit for this. Need to know what types of trim are compatible with this valve. Not sure if the Posi-Temp is or if we have to strictly stay with the Moentrol trims available. Thanks

Moentrol uses a smaller diameter stop tube so you can only use Moentrol trim. But the Moen site has a plethora of trim options available for it.

It has to be Moentrol, and not PosiTemp. But there is a lot of trim available. Look on line at moen.com or in a catalog at a plumbing supply. You won't find trims at the box stores, but HD should have the YOW catalog to look at.
