Hello,

I have tried every trick I can think of, to avoid this, but I am stuck. I need to pass a DWV from my master bedroom toilet through 8" block foundation wall. The wall was formerly the external foundation for the house, it is now a load bearing wall between our original wall and our foundation.

Is this as simple as drilling out a 3.5" whole in the wall? Is there some soft of a collar / insert I need to use when I pass the PVC pipe through the foundation wall?

Thanks,

Steve

A 3.5" hole will work...
We usually go one size up and put a sleeve in but it whould not be needed if both sides of the wall are above ground... (sleeve is to protect pipe from damage due to settling etc...)
