Washer/sink rough in question - pics included

Hi guys,

I'm installing a sink in my laundry room and need some input. I've downloaded Terry's picture of a standard washer/laundry sink rough in, but my sink will be about 3 ft to the left of the drain rather than being directly in front of the drain.

So my question....and I know this is overkill, but to vent the sink which way would you go?

Just take the upper tee, swing it to the left in the wall, and 90 el out about 3 feet away.

The trap arm can have a developed length of 42" to the trap.

that leads me to another quick question then.

Can the sink and washer trap arms come into a 3" line at the same place using a PVC Cross or must they be stacked using two Ts as you've shown in your picture?

After more thought and a lot more research I know why the PVC cross can't be used. I'll be following Terry's picture exactly.

Here, that second vent would be overkill. Just one tee for the WM trap and one above it for the sink.

It works with the single vent, I did it that way too, for about 30 years.
Now in Washington State, they make us add the second vent.

Here are two more pictures using my venting with the wyes that I posted years ago. I mocked it up on my green backscreen and the other plumbers liked it so much they now do it.
