OK, poor planning. Putting in a new tub, attaching drain setup and had already applied purple stuff and cement to both ends of the PVC but forgot to do something else first which prevented me from putting the PVC together. I cleaned off the cement with a cloth before it cured.
Can I still use these pieces? Should I use a solvent cleaner first, then repeat the purple/cement steps? Just re-apply the cement and see what happens? It will create several headaches as the male end of the pipe extends ~2 inches out from the wall (not my doing) so I can't just cut it off to fresh pipe.
Please tell me there is an answer!
