Does TOTO SanaGloss make toilet cleaning easier? Does it deteriorate with time?

SanaGloss is part of the finish, not an add-on, surface coating. Similar to WonderGlis on Duravit, and other manufacturers have finishes that are similar. It is much more common overseas from what I read. It makes the surface smoother, and at least with the SanaGloss, adds some microbial protection. The finish starts out smoother, and will be degraded at probably about the same rate as any other finish. calcium deposits can be removed easier than on a standard finish, and the smoother surface means less stuff sticks to it, so if there is anything, it brushes off easier.

We use the comparison of a regular frying pan and teflon coated.
They will both get dirty but teflon is easier to clean.
